Caregivers need just as much support as the children they’re caring for and the idea of Foster Talks came from necessity. Foster parents, kinship caregivers and social workers alike need reliable, up-to-date and effective resources to help us understand and support our most vulnerable citizens – children in care. Along with this, many people who want to help caregivers often don’t know what to do or where to start, this is where Foster Talks begins.

Here you will be able to gain knowledge and find support in the journey of caregiving. We have recruited professionals and experienced foster parents to give you in-depth access into the world of parenting children in care. Whether it’s a child whom identifies as LGBTQ, falls on the fetal alcohol spectrum or struggles with attachment, you will find a safe space here to take a breath and rely on the experts to help you open some doors with your children, their families and your team.
